In the medieval tavern U sedmi vábů you will find specialties like in no other restaurant. We can satisfy your big hunger or appetite for something small with food made after recipes of 15th and 16th century. For this we use only raw material known and used at that time, avoiding things like for example potatoes and tomatoes. We will please you eyes and tongue during a short visit just as by large celebration. Following we present you at least some of our most popular dishes and drinks:
- pučálka, sprouted, fried and salted peas, which you get free at our place
- pork lard with onions and apples
- pâté with almonds and cranberries
- green asparagus on herb sauce with blue cheese
- garlic soup with egg and tender ham, oven-baked with toast and cheese
- fried pork knuckle with fresh horseradish and mustard for two persons
- chicken Wiener Schnitzel in almond crust on oranges
- "Plait of princess Libue", fried bunch of 3 kinds of meat marinated on red wine
- flamed spit for two persons
- whole ham or whole roasted sucking pig for larger company
- fried millet cakes with herbs
- typical Bohemian small pancakes with plum jam, cottage cheese and sour cream
- true mead (honey wine) - cold, hot or in different mixed drinks
- "Kiss of the maid" for a better digestion
